I frantically waited for the water to get to that perfect temperature.
not too hot.
not too cold.
but it never did.
Instead of submerging myself in the freezing cold water, I turned it off.
I thought about all the days for an entire 11 months that I won't even have the luxury of having a shower all to myself.
I thought about all the families who spend their whole lives without this luxury.
Most of us spend our shower time de-stressing,
which ends up being a very long shower time.
Think of all of those families who stress over the thought of not having a proper shower for weeks at a time.
I challenge you to take a couple bucket showers
so you can realize how blessed you are.
Be thankful for the little things
you have the luxury of doing each day
that so many people do not.
