Heavenly Father, everyday we get to wake up and praise your name in everything we do. God, I pray that each day you would open our hearts and see your glory in everything that you have given us. Holy Spirit, would you set our hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set our minds on things above, not earthly things. For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. You have rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son who you love in whom we have redemption, for the forgiveness of our sins. You bring darkness to light. Let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Holy Spirit, help us to understand what it means to come into the presence of God. Help us know what an honor it is to speak to Him. Holy, holy, holy almighty God you are. You are who was and is and is to come. Holy Spirit, come invade us. We are your church. We need your power in us almighty God.
This past week I have been trying to hear God’s voice. Even though I didn’t hear a tangible word or what he wanted me to do or anything like that, I have been feeling His presence and His peace. He has never left us and He will never leave us.
