We made it safe and sound. The dominicans of San Juan are so friendly and welcoming, its wonderful. The best way i can explain this place is like a TJ club! I know it sounds bad, but dont worry, its all good. The colors are vibrant, the latin culture is alive and everyone from ninos to abuelos are jammin to lound musica, I mean LOUD!!!!
Next week along with Team spectecal, we will begin our ministry in the slums of san juan with our local contact.
The food is not bad, but for sure not healthy…its hard Dad…lol! Lots of rice, fried food and grease, oh did I mention grease!!!! All good though.
Anyway, God has lots of work to do here and I am so excited to be a part of it.
