Hello Friends & Family,
As most of you know, but some may not, I have recently returned from a short term Christian Mission to Swaziland. With the help of many of you I was able to see God in a different way, a way that to many is so devastating but to me (and those living there) it was a hope and a faith of God coming alive before my very eyes. Through this experience Christ sparked a desire in my heart that I know can only be a calling from Him.
As I continue to love our Creator with all my heart, this next season in my life will be filled with full dependence on God, excitement, faith testing and adventure. After much prayer and listening to the Lord’s guidance, God is directing me yet again into the missions’ field, only this time my boundaries will be the world!
Come January ’09, I will be taking on an 11-month journey across continents visiting 11 different countries. As the Lord leads 40+ teammates and I from The Dominican Republic, to Haiti, Jamaica, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Bosnia and Romania, I will be able to be the hands and feet of Jesus to so many! During our time in each of these countries, my team and I will not only expand on what we learned through an intense 10-day training camp, but we will feed the hungry, rescue and comfort orphans, bring justice to the sex trade and extend God’s love!
As I explore this road less traveled, I will discover authentic relationships and grow in my identity as a follower of Christ. Over the next year, I would pray that you could be a part of this ministry with me. Although there is so much hurt and pain in the world, we can rest in the fact that through you and I, God can touch the lives of so many.
Throughout all of this, one of my prayers would be that you all could follow me around the world and be a part of this amazing journey. Not only do I want to share with you what God is doing in my life, but more than that, I want share what He is doing for the once lost, once sick and once heartbroken….share the light that He will bring to many! I ask that you continually pray for my safety and health and that Gods word would be reveled to men, women and children of all kinds across the nations! My team and I will come up against a lot of darkness and I would be blessed if above all else, you would keep us in your prayers.
