How we wound up in Cambodia for the 10th leg (month) of this journey already is beyond comprehension!

First, I’d like to take a moment to introduce my new team! Team: U! We’ve got lots of interesting ways that this simple letter plays into our mantra for these final two months, but rather than explain them all, enjoy our fun team photo!

Upon arriving to Cambodia we knew that a majority (basically all) of the assignments would include teaching English- it’s a big outreach method for the communities here. So I was geared up and excited to try out fumbling through the alphabet using lots of over-the-top-gesturing. And every night we teach 2 hours of English to the local kids in the community that come to our international school.

BUT, WAIT! THERE’S MORE!!

We also break into two groups during the afternoon to work with local orphanages. And a dream I never knew I had came true. One of the homes requested dance classes and choreography for their big Christmas pageant at a local hotel that helps support them. THANK YOU JESUS!!

That picture is from our warm-up today at our first dance class! These kids learn quick and are so smart. They’ve actually been putting on this Christmas show the past two year by learning dances from YouTube. Yes, YouTube. And they look so good doing it! I am excited to be a real live teacher for them, to share this love with them, and to have an excuse to blast Christmas music before Halloween!

I am so excited about our month here in Cambodia and could not have dreamed up a better assignment! Ask God to reveal something better than your wildest dreams for you, and watch Him work in your life to make it happen. Stay open to all the possibilities he may be placing before you and reach for them with all your might!
