Our month in Honduras was filled with so much joy, hard work, celebration, a few challenges, and a miracle. The kids there will stay with me forever- literally, I had them all sign my tent in Sharpie! The family leading the safe home have a faith and a passion for serving the Lord that runs deep. The words of that family have been so encouraging! It felt like home- maybe it was the good American food we enjoyed- but it definitely comes from the open hearts and happy home we served. In the future, the property will be transformed into a youth camp center and also host classes and activities for the community. I believe our team served them well. Below are pictures of two of the girls that won me over and taught me about how to find the best tree to climb and that I should always take two Bibles so I can give one away to whoever might need it. And we ended our month with a pre-dawn hike to see the sunrise, enjoy the beautiful view!

Thank you to all who have supported the work and the ability for me to be serving on this trip. I am beyond words thrilled to be 70% of the way to my goal. Looking forward to seeing what people join the support for the final 30%!
