Sometimes God leads you to people before the vision.
A small timeline since leaving on the World Race in July 2008:
This journey has only created a path that leads to thinking of the ‘impossible’ and desiring to live a life that has eternal significance. I was asked to come and serve with Generation 42 in Spain back in April. I have spent some time praying about this decision and I find that God has truly led me to commit to returning 2011 winter!
This is a long-term commitment meaning I am going until God leads other wise. I will begin developing partnership/senders for minumum of two year. It has been a journey in itself to pray into a decision like this. I find that every area of my life is DEPENDENT on the LORD. I take a deep breath in writing that sentence:) With faith, courage and the Lord at my side, I leaped into the unknown. I do know that God is with me and HE is constant…so start your engines! Faith and risk go hand in hand.
Not only will I be among starting a church plant, I will be helping to pioneer the non-profit organization Generation 42 (mission to raise up leaders to go and plant the kingdom of God where it doesn’t exsist) alongside some of the best individuals I have ever had the chance to serve with. Feeding the homeless, discipling a generation, raising up leaders to go, starting businesses, seeking justice for ‘the woman of the night’ and trafficked victims, expanding a network, loving the orphan, plant churches, hosting dance classes, use creative art to bring a community alive, empower government to bring change, loving people where they are…create worship where it doesn’t exisit, bring Kingdom in any work force……YOU NAME IT, we can DO IT!
