2nd Continent Switch–From Latin America to Asia.
July: Palanque, Mexico
August: Antigua (debrief)/Puerto Barrios, Guatamala
September: Ko Samet Island, Thailand (debrief for 4 days)—-then—Ho Chi Mihn City, Viatnam!
Our team has been in Mexico City since Tuesday after a 33 hour bus ride from Puerto Barrios, Guatamala. We meet the rest of our squad and now we are leaving this evening to LAX and then off to Thailand! I get to see my Dad for the second time for about two hours at LAX. God is so good! Thankfully Dad is bringing some Moose Munch (gormet caramel popcorn) and Hand Sanitizer. I will be leaving him with a big hug and about 15 pounds from my pack!
I am so excited for this next phase in Asia. I have only gone from America to another continent–so I know that this is going to be culture shock in a new way.
Can’t wait to tell you more about my time in Guatamala. I have got to get better at blogging! Love you all and please be praying for our squad as we start to process what God has been doing and what is to come in Vietnam.
