I looked off in the distance and it was glowing and beckoning me toward it. I ran to it and quickly opened it. I stuck my face in it and took a huge bite. Suddenly, a flush of memories engulfed my mind. I was back at home thinking of all the wonderful people and experiences. After I swallowed, I stood in pure ecstasy. Taylor brought me out of my dream world and stared strangely at me. I tried to explain to him the importance of Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked Ice Cream and how there was no time to try to find a spoon so I had to shove my face into it, but words did no justice. He just shook his head as I continued to eat out of my trough like a starving pig. I continued to think of home. All the people I love and miss and am so thankful for.
