We made it safe to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic!!!! I feel at home already.
We are staying at a Catholic Compound about 30 minutes outside of the capital. We danced bachata and merengue with some people that were there. God´s little gift to me, I physically cannot not dance around all this amazing latin music. It is soooo hot and humid here, but God is good and we are alive. We are getting some training as leaders. Went into town and got groceries. It is fun using my spanish and laughing with the people. They are so amazing and friendly.
Mari and I made guacemole and had some pineapple and plantain chips. Amazing!!!
This is a beautiful start to a great adventure. I am so blessed to be alive and serving God all over the world again. Thank you all for helping me live the dream God put on my heart.
