I treasure God!
Life gets better each day. I finally came to the realization
that:
What
I treasure most
cannot
be taken away from me.
That blows me away and has changed my life forever!!
“Only aim at and strive for and seek His kingdom,
and all these things shall be supplied to you also.
Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear,
little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!
Sell what you possess and give donations to the
poor; provide yourselves with purses and handbags that do not grow old, an
unfailing and inexhaustible treasure in the heavens, where no thief comes near
and no moth destroys.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart
be also.” -Luke 12:31-34
I truly treasure God.
So, I can never again be overcome by fear or anxiety or guilt or worry. I can
never be overcome by frustrations, opposition, negative comments, or sin. Yes,
sometimes I worry, I sin, I get frustrated…but all it takes is the simple
reminder to get my eyes back on God. When it comes down to it, He is all that
matters.
Seek God first AND in every moment. Other things are just little presents and blessings. Love with all I am, but don’t hold so tightly to things and people that they don’t allow me to be led by God’s Spirit.
God is the thing I love and treasure most. And No
one and No thing can take Him away.
