1. Dominican Republic
In San Juan, there are many impoverished people as well as many who do not have a relationship with God. There are many opportunities here to do construction work, Vacation Bible School with the children, door to door evangelism, discipleship, and help with church services. There are many people who need the Love of Jesus. If you have a heart for any of these things, they would love to have you serve.

2. Haiti
After the recent earthquake that killed hundreds of thousands of people, Haiti is still in shambles. There is such a great need physically and spiritually. Many are starving, many more are left emotionally scarred, and most still do not know saving power of God. There are many ministries in and near Port Au Prince. We worked in Mont Rouis at the Canaan Orphanage. A place where abandoned and orphaned children are raised up in the Lord. They need help with construction projects, teaching, and with the medical clinic.

3. Ireland
From the outside, Ireland has it all together. The people are friendly but alcoholism and depression plagues this country. The travelers, a forgotten people who have no home country or rights, go from place to place living in very poor conditions. Opportunities in Ireland include: giving bread and clothes to the travellers, preaching the gospel on the streets and at festivals, help at the drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, construction, and much more.

4. Moldova
Moldova is the poorest country in Eastern Europe. We were able to help with construction on a church and farm work. There are many other evangelism opportunities as well.

5. Malawi
This country is considered the “Warm heart of Africa” and it truly is. We were able to preach the gospel around the whole area, build relationships, and give Bibles to villages that had never had them. These people are physically starving. What is worse, they are spiritually starving because they don’t have the word of God

6. Swaziland
Nsoko is the epicenter of the AIDS epidemic. It is one of the most beautiful countries with many needs. We worked at a carepoint- an area that feeds hundreds of orphans one time a day. There are many construction projects, child-sponsorship opportunities, and people needed to help bring life to this country. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the LIFE.

7. South Africa
Just outside of Johannesburg, there is an amazing place called Nkosi’s Haven. It is a home for women and children with HIV. This place gives them food, clothes, and education. They have a farm and other means to potentially sustain themselves in the future, but now, they need all the help they can get.

8. Philippines
A beautiful country with huge problems with poverty and sex trafficking. We were able to help with the children, prison ministry, construction on a church, college ministry, and much more. There are so many opportunities with K.I.M. (Kids International Ministries).

9. China
This country has been closed to God for many years, They have shut God out with big buildings, knowledge and wealth. Also, children are abandoned or murdered if they have disabilities. We worked with the children at Eagle Wings. There are so many opportunities here.

10. Thailand
About one in every four girls in Thailand is involved in the sex trade. People come to this country for no other reason than sex. Every day, little girls are taken or tricked into leaving their homes. There are many organizations that work with intervention (helping get the girls out of the sex trade). We were blessed to work with REMEMBER NHU, an organization that prevents girls from getting there. There are opportunities with construction, education, and mentoring.

11. Malaysia
This country is a beautiful mixture of Indian Hindus, Malay Muslims, and China Buddhist. There are many different people and cultures living side by side. Kuala Lumpur is a huge city that has everything you could ever dream of…everything but Jesus Christ. There are many opportunities in the city including: working in a restaurant, orphanage, feeding programs, college ministry. We worked in the jungle at the organic farm where there is always work to be done.
