Falling in love… Why was living in Moldova the best month of my life? Because we had amazing food straight from the cow or chicken. Because it rained. Because we lived in a cute village. Because we had dance parties. Because we worked hard in the fields and making cement. Because we hungered for God’s word. Because we played dress up. Because we had days to rest. Because we got homemade grape juice and beyond. Because I had diarrhea for a week. Because we did P90x everyday. Because we lived like the church in acts. Most importantly, Because I fell so deeply in love with God that I didn’t want to do anything else but be with HIM…or talk about HIM…or sing to HIM…or listen to HIM.
And these are the people I did it with:
1) Mama Vita A wise woman who did everything for us. She refused to give us second best and gave her whole life to “God’s Work.” I learned alot from her.
2) Marusia (Mari Tomer) My roommate, sister, and friend. The woman with a heart of gold who is running with me after God. Her life is a living example of a disciple who sacrifices everything for Jesus.
3) Tata Stefan A man of power, love, and perseverence. He sacrifices eveything for God’s call and his family.
4) Colia (Craig Thompson-on left) A man of great wisdom and honesty. He is very attentive to God and others. and he sees things others miss.
5) Elijah (on right) Our translator and my dear brother. A man of God with a heart of peace and love. Sacrificial servant of God.
6) Sophia (Brittany Smith) A woman of wisdom and truth. She makes me laugh soo hard and challenges me and pushes me forward.
7) Grandma Elizaveta A hardworking faithful servant of God. Always with God and always outside. Walking toward holiness.
8) Raia (Robin Jarrett) A spunky pure-hearted woman. Fights for justice and an example of God’s faithful pursuit. Loving.
9) Jora (Jon My little brother with a big heart. Always giving, laughing, growing, and becoming more like Jesus. Amazing perspective on life.
10) Jesus (the son of God) I have fallen head over heels in love. He has grabbed my heart and shown me how to live. He is who I spent the most time with this month.
