It has been a crazy hard last month. God has been teaching me and breaking me of my old self. It is hard but God is taking me deeper and further than before. It’s amazing when you don’t have control. God finally gets it. He carries you and makes things a million times better. Here’s a quick overview of the month.
Bucarest was full of loving on the orphan kids, organizing clothes, street evangelism, cleaning, picking apples, learning to fear God, international churches, doing dramas, giving food to the poor, dancing, worshipping God, praying as a squad, weeping and mourning together, hanging out with the girls from the shelter for abused and handicapped women., festivals, playing with the kids from the village, choreographing for the dance competition, kids club, cooking, fasting, seeing people getting healed, seeing people getting saved, McDonalds, loving on people in the park, talks and stories with Becky, scavenging food, and just being together as a squad at Casa Shalom.
Brasov was where I got awakened to God’s voice. God gave me a heart for intercession. This was a time where we met with three other World Race squads and were able to soak up encouragement from them and wisdom from the World Race Staff. We changed teams, again. William and Tiffany are squad leaders. Our team is Ashley, A.J., Damaris, Heather, Hailee, Me, and Scottie is our leader. We have had time soaking up God, hearing teachings, living in tents, crying out to God for the nations, winning the 2009 Awakening dance off (the video will be posted soon), sharing God’s love with the people at the campsite, praying, climbing mountains, and praying a lot. It has been amazing.
Tomorrow we are taking a train to Turkey. We will be there for about 12 days to help out and then continuing on to Israel. Due to the fact that Turkey is a closed country and Israel tracks people like dogs, I kindly ask that you not comment on my blogs until we know that it is safe too. Also, please do not e-mail me or mention anything about the work we are doing in the middle east on my facebook. Please keep us in your prayers. For the next month or two, communication will be very minimal. I will most likely not be posting a blog (we cannot go on the world race website) for a while but will try to update my facebook (search for me by my email: [email protected]) status when I can. I will let you know more once we are safe in Africa. Thank you for your continued support!!! You all are so incredible and encouraging. Pray hard. God speaks and He listens.
