There are over 48 billion posts on Instagram, which include the hashtag…blessed.
Fortunately, I’m hashtag blessed, and so are you. But why has this become so commercialized for all the wrong reasons? Only true blessings come from giving yourself over gaining yourself.
The ultimate sacrifice can be found in any form of humility. Let us not exalt ourselves, but one another. Let us lift each other up. Let us show love. Let us be kind. Let us be patient. Let us be blessed.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24
What greater blessing is there in all the universe than to have eternal life in Christ? If the Lord has saved you, you are #blessed and highly favored above most of those who live here on earth.
So maybe my #blessed looks different than yours, but the tree of life is high and it is only humility that will climb it.
