I am still trying to process the emotions, events and experiences of training camp, so until I manage to translate my thoughts into coherent sentences, I would love to introduce you to my team. I just wrote an entire blog about them, and Safari shut down. Out of protest, this one will be much shorter, but it doesn’t mean I love them less. They are absolutely incredible and I feel so blessed by the opportunity to share life with them over the next 11 months. I can feel how much God loves me when I look at their beautiful faces. You should know that.
Michael is extremely gifted in spoken word, click here if you don’t believe me… and click it if you do.
(Tim wrote a much more eloquent blog about our team, and a few about training camp. Click his name to find them!)
We are TEAM SHABACH!
get to know and love these faces, for they are my new family and i love them so.
SHABACH – (shaw-bakh) : to address in a loud tone, a loud adoration, a shout! Proclaim with a loud voice, unashamed, the GLORY, TRIUMPH, POWER, MERCY, LOVE OF GOD. This word implies that testimony is praise. The phrase “shout unto the Lord” can be understood as the action of SHABACH. It is not just being loud. You should have the attitude of putting your whole being into it, an attitude of being totally uninhibited.
“Sing praise-songs to God. He’s done it all!
Let the whole earth know what he’s done!
Raise the roof! Sing your hearts out, O Zion!
The Greatest lives among you: The Holy of Israel.”
– Isaiah 12:5-6, The Message
