me llamo es tara kalin davis.

i’m 21 and a sophomore-ish in college. i’ve changed my major, and school, multiple
times.
i live in orlando, florida, and i have for almost all of my life. i was born in tampa, though.
the entire book “searching for God knows what,” by donald miller, serves as my favorite quote… & romans 8:18 “i consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the
glory that will be revealed in us.”
i have a pretty large collection of
embarrassing/awkward stories.

i’m really terrible at using my phone. i don’t often answer phone calls, promptly text back or return calls. i’d rather talk in real life.
if this means anything to you: i am an ISFP, sometimes INFP.
i’m fairly mellow and tend to be somewhat of a wallflower (i like to observe and analyze), but i have an adventurous spirit. i am slowly trying to change the first part, but it’s harder than i imagined it would be.
four things i especially dislike: cockroaches, mayonnaise, feet and side hugs (as opposed to normal, front ones).
i love love love really good mexican food. most especially rosa mexicano!
music. some
current favs are blind pilot, lisa mitchell, matt hires, the avett brothers, bon iver, a fine frenzy, phoenix, phil wickham, and drake (which one of these does not belong? ha)
my favorite time of day is right after the sun sets and right before the sky turns dark when trees look black against the sky.
i like to drive. especially at night. and in the rain. i really love the rain.
i have a beautiful pup, named bailey, who is the cutest, sweetest thing ever. he also happens to be my biggest fan 🙂
north carolina is my favorite of the united states. a lot of people i love live there. but, there are little pieces of my heart (aka my family) all throughout the world, and i adore each and every one of them.
i have a group of
angelic friends whom i will love forever. they are some of the truest
folks i have ever known.
i am one in an amazing church community in
downtown orlando! i am both humbled and inspired by the hearts of those
around me. they are incredible.

the more i learn about Jesus, the more i fall in love
with Him. i think it was the time i heard a message on luke 13:31-35,
especially “go tell that fox!” that sparked a change in the way i saw
and related to Him.

i have never been on a missions trip before, or really anything even kind of similar to the world race. but i honestly couldn’t be more excited!
