This is the view from the roof of the first place we stayed in Panajachel.  On the roof you can see that laundry is drying and in the distance you can see a beautiful old church.

This is a view from our boat ride over to San Pedro.  You have to take a boat to get to any of the other 8 villages surrounding the lake.  It costs us about 25 Q each way and we just found out that we can get a missionary rate of 15 Q.  Great news for our budget.
Picture of the boats we ride in.  Picture the water gushing over the front and in our faces.  It actually is refreshing.  This picture makes the lake look extremely calm, but when you are out on the lake it is pretty choppy.  We will be traveling to San Pedro to do ministry every Wed and stay with Pastor Antonio until Thursday night.

We haven’t ventured to take a kayak or a paddle boat yet, but oh what fun that would be.
The view from San Pedro looking back across the lake.  Directly across the lake you can see Sam Marcos the spiritual hub of the lake with lots of new age healing.  I am excited to go there and pray for people to be healed in Jesus name.  A little further to the right then the picture is Panajachel, where we are calling our home base.
