So you read in my previous post that Steen and I prayed for Corndog and he was healed. Well, this past Wednesday he had a doctors appointment and he was released to run, meaning the doctor could see no reason why he could not compete. But, to be cautious his coach told him to take it easy. Corndog contacted Steen and I to let us know about his doctors appointment and to tell us about his race on Friday.

So, on Friday Steen and I went to his race to watch him run. We got their and he waved and smiled at us as he ran by in the lead. And, we prayed for him as he ran and watched as he started running faster and faster. Steen and I were thrilled to watch him as he ran across the finish line in 1st place with a 2 mile time of 12:35. Pretty impressive seeing how he was not supposed to even be able to run the week before.  🙂

After the race we got to talk to him a bit and congratulate him on his victory.  We all stood amazed praising God for the miracle of healing! And, Steen and I once more got in the car humbled by the fact that God would use us to heal this boy.

*I forgot my camera, but got a picture of him from his facebook to share (this is not from the race I went to, but it gives you a face with the name – and now whenever I say Corndog with a capital C, you don’t picture a breaded hotdog on a stick)
