The World Race is a 9 month mission trip which will start in September of this year, where  my squad of 50 other beautiful human beings, and myself, will go and live in 5 countries world wide. In Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras, Ethiopia, and Thailand we will live out of  a back-pack and give within the communities that will be hosting us. That work involves working in orphanages, local people, giving love to and ministering to women and children who have been forced into a life of prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and many other things.

Just a bit about me:

As stated above, my name is Tanner. I am a 20 year old from Houston, Texas (recent host of the super bowl, and home of Nasa). I am currently just working at the moment with friends of mine at Chickfila as I gear up for the race and to save for school when I return. I’ve always been in love with the outdoors, sports, and reading. I have wanted to travel the world since I was a little girl, soaking in the stories and pictures from visiting missionaries at my home church.

I am interested in majoring either in Education or Anthropolgy, because I love working with people and am fascinated by history and other cultures…

My family consists of my parents, my older sister Page, my younger brother Brandon, his cat, and our four dogs…. I am a huge dog person.
