A couple of weeks ago I blogged about a woman named Sallie who had been bed-ridden and ill since last August.  A 29 year old mother of three whose husband had already moved on and started a relationship with someone else because she was so sick.  Sallie died on Monday.  When I first heard the news I was very sad, all I could see was her face and her frail body…I was heartbroken for her three young children and her sister who had been taking care of her for the last several months.  But then God reminded me of the day we met Sallie and the events that took place.  It absolutely amazes me how our Lord perfectly orchestrates everything with everybody on this earth
I’m blown away when I think of that day and how God put it on Willy’s (our ICM contact) heart to stop and have us pray over his former neighbor; how God put it on Eryn’s heart to ask if Sallie knew Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior before we prayed for her healing; how Christine (our ICM contact) explained the story of Jesus to her and asked her if she wanted to accept Jesus into her heart; how Sallie’s heart was open and she accepted the Lord; how deeply Lyndsay, Taniuska, Eryn, Christine and I prayed over Sallie for God to heal her ailing body and put flesh back on her bones; how God prompted me to ask if she really believed she could be healed and she smiled as to say YES!  I’m blown away by all these things because as of Monday, she is healed!!!  The flesh is back on her bones and she is living a glorious life with our Father in heaven because He worked everything out perfectly so she would hear the gospel and be open to accepting Jesus just before He took her away from this earth.  Now every time I think of her face and her frail body, I smile and thank my God for being so perfect and for being so intentional with how He makes things work in this life.  We met Sallie one time, one day, but we will get to see her again and I can’t wait to give her a huge hug in heaven.
