Short & simple seems to be the best option for this portion of my blog!
I want this to be a place where you can quickly get to know general information about me. The post entitled ‘My Story’, on the other hand, allows you to get to know me on a much deeper level. With that said, here’s a few statements that will allow you to get to know me better!
- I’m a born again Christian, saved by the grace of God, amazed at His faithfulness daily, and thankful for His unconditional love & unending mercy.
- My family is fantastic, & they’re my absolute best friends! My oldest bother got married this summer, and I cannot express how thankful I am for my sister-in-law. I have one younger sister & two younger brothers, along with the best parents a kid could have!
- I LOVE to run
- My first mission trip was to Juarez, Mexico with my church. This is where my interest in mission work really began (again, read ‘My Story’ for more details!)
- I’m 22 & will graduate from South Dakota State University in May with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies.
- International adoption is one of my greatest passions. I was blessed with the opportunity to be the international adoption intern at The Gladney Center for Adoption in Texas this past summer. My experience at this agency was fantastic!
- Miscellaneous: dessert is my favorite, I can be extremely indecisive, my Myers-Briggs category is ISFJ, early mornings are enjoyable, & breakfast for supper is always acceptable.
