My Oh My! I have experienced a lot of changes lately! I’ve come to really realize that choosing a life that really follows the Lord involves a life of multiple transitions and seasons! But they’re good for me!
Anywho…with that said, I’m coming to the end of one of those seasons in my life and entering into, yet another, transition! My 6 month internship with the World Race and Adventures In Missions is coming to a close at the end of this month. However, I have been asked to stay on board with the World Race department as part of their staff! After lots of prayer, it has been confirmed that this is exactly where the Lord wants me right now! So…I’ve accepted! I’m really excited about what the Lord is going to do with me in this position. I know that He is preparing me for something bigger than myself through my role here and I can’t wait to see what else He’s got in store for me!
I’ve also just completed a three-week training course to help me understand what support raising is, as well as helping me to share my vision more effectively! So…to all of my supporters out their:
First of all, I want to apologize for my lack of communication to you. I’ve realized now that this IS a partnership and not just a one-way support system. I apologize for not staying in touch with you regularly and asking how I could pray for you. I apologize if it seemed like I didn’t really care. And I apologize if I have misguided you in anyway.
You guys have meant a lot to me and to the ministry that God has placed on my heart. And I am thankful that He has put you in my life as my support system, as well as what plans that He has for you guys! I’ve come to also realize that this is not about me, ever! That everything that I do, even asking for support (prayerfully and financially) is not about me! It’s about HIM! How can we advance His Kingdom?
