Okay…well not quite! However, it will be the closest to the jungle that I will ever live! My team (Lunchbox) are being sent to a nearby village of Antigua’s! We have been told that there is a jungle practically next to where we will be camping, as well as a volcano that makes a bit of a racket! I can’t tell you how excited I am…no, I’m very serious…I am! I’m not really looking forward to any creepy crawlers I might come across…or the fact that I might be too terrified to leave my tent in the middle of the night if I should need to use the bathroom…but I am excited to serve God and His people in this village!
While in this village, we will be building roofs and anything else the Lord lays on our hearts…however we can serve this community and especially the family who will be taking care of us while there!
Please pray for my team and the village that we are going to! Pray that God lines up things for us to do after we have completed our set assignments! Pray that people will see God…the living God!
Oh…I forgot to mention…the first language of this village is the Mayan language and then Spanish (but it’s not guaranteed that everyone will speak Spanish)…so, like in all the previous countries, please pray that God will bless us with the ability to communicate clearly with all that we come in contact with!
