Hey Everyone! So…Here is an update after my rummage sale and to give you and idea of where I stand!
The rummage sale was amazing! God blessed me incredibly! One of my teammates, and the leader of our team, Karis, drove down from St. Louis friday night to help me with the rummage sale on Saturday! I felt so blessed to have a teammate support me like she did! I cannot say enough how much I truly love my teammates….all of them are so uniquely gifted by God and I cannot wait to see how they are used by Him! So, friday night, I continued to receive donations for my rummage sale (THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HELPED ME WITH MY RUMMAGE SALE), it was a huge blessing from the Lord! Lindsay arrived in Memphis around 6 p.m. or so, and I put her to work right away! We had a lot to do! We baked cookies, made rice krispie treats, made posters, collected tables and chairs for the sale, and finally we ended the night by watching Newsies!

The next day was nerve-racking….I prayed that God would just bless me however He can and wants, and that I would be completely satisfied with whatever the outcome (you know how hard it is to pray to be satisfied with whatever the outcome is….that whatever is His will…it is so hard to give over control and your own wants, desires, and expectations…but I prayed it and meant it). God did bless me completely!
This is where we held the rummage sale…it’s the coffee shop ministry that I work at in Binghampton!

A look at the women’s clothing table….there were still so many bags that weren’t even opened yet! We had plenty!

So, God really did bless me tremendously….I was able to raise over $1,000! Praise God! We worked hard this day! And He heard my prayers, and I was and am completely satisfied with the outcome of the rummage sale…it was beyond what I imagined it would be!
Now that the rummage sale was over, I felt completely released to check my account on Monday! I have not checked my account in nearly 4 weeks because He really laid it on my heart to build faith in Him again and to learn to have satisfaction in what is done…and to understand that He is in charge…nothing happens without Him! I gave up my obsession to check my balance and focused my attention on Him! Before I checked my account on Monday, I prayed for satisfaction in Him and what was, is, and will be provided through God! He has truly captured my heart and I have no doubt that He will provide every penny needed! He will continue to bless me! So, to let you know where I stand, I am blessed to have $7,972 in my account! Thank you to everyone who has, is, and will support me….thank you for being a part of His ministry!
I leave in less than 3 weeks, and I cannot wait to serve Him and to be used by Him! I pray to be used, but really, it somewhat scares me to know that He plans on using me in ways that will definitely bring me out of my comfort zone…I’ve prayed this…and He has been confirming in me that He intends to use me, and my teammates, and this squad! I’m nervous, but I’m ready! I am ready to give myself over time and again to Him….to be used for His glory…to bring Nations to Him….to build relationships in His name….and to shine His light on His people! I’m ready for His Kingdom to be known! I am called…and I am ready!
