William and Pam
Pastor William Getumbe and his beautiful wife, Pam…what an amazing couple! They were completely welcoming and so eager and excited to have us in their home and a part of their ministry! This couple has many dreams for Kenya…for the Kingdom of God and has shared so many with us! William and Pam have a church in Eldoret called Latter Glory Church. It is located behind a big farmer’s market…and pretty much right in the middle of the hang outs/home of many street kids. Their church has been dedicated to that area of Eldoret and to the hope of bringing those street kids (also known as glue kids, b/c they sniff glue to suppress their hunger) to run to Christ and to know Christ! Their heart belongs to those children….those children have become their children. Please partner in prayer with me for William and Pam. Pray that God will continue to bless them in ministering to the street kids and that area of Eldoret that they are in. Pray that God will provide for every need that they have and that they will continue to give generously. Pray that God will hear their prayers for their dreams and show favor upon them. Pray that their marriage will continue to be blessed and that God will continue to provide them with more and more children to love on and to minister to.

What an amazing man he is. We were so blessed to know him. We could not have been able to get as much done or maneuver around as smoothly without him. He was a blessing. He took such good care of us. This man was once a street kid himself, and now works with Pastor William and Pam in ministering to the street kids. He is an amazing worshiper and he never stops smiling. His motto was to “Be Happy 24/7!”….and he was! There was never a time where he wasn’t…he did everything with the utter most joy that anyone could have! And God has truly blessed this man with a beautiful wife and a beautiful son. I will miss this incredible man…and the chai tea he made for us every day (mmmm….)! Please pray for this man! Pray that he will continue to stay in God’s presence and be a light for Him. Pray that God will bless him in all of his needs and that more people will be able to experience the joy of this awesome man!
