Jason
I met Jason on the first day that we entered the tunnel area!  He appeared out of nowhere and instantly began to inform us of all of his neighbors and answered the questions we had.  And he speaks English!  He has been so incredibly helpful and has introduced us to many of the people that we have grown completely in love with in the tunnel.  He has been there to help translate the heart of God that we have for those people!  We love Jason tremendously for his interest in the lives of his neighbors and his willingness to assist us in finding those people!  However, it breaks my heart that Jason is homosexual!  And there is a spirit of fear that seems to cover him, not allowing him to really know God and the desire that God has for him.  We spoke life into Jason on his 27th birthday this past Saturday, as well as shared the Gospel with him…and we prayed for him, calling out those spirits that are not of God and have rested upon Jason.  Oh, the impact that this one man can have for Christ, if he only knew!

Oh Lord God, I pray for this man, I pray God that he will desire to know who you really are, and to understand his calling for your kingdom.  I pray for him to be released from the strongholds that Satan has on his life and rebuke the demonic spirits that cover him in Jesus’s name!  Come, and take hold of this son of yours and show him who you are and allow him to be open to your calling.

Mario and Family
This family is a family that knows God…they are called the “Happy Family” throughout the tunnel.  Some of our guys met Mario during our first week of ministry here, while we were pouring a concrete sidewalk down through part of the Cuatro community.  Mario told them that he used to run a bible study but it kind of faded out, but that he has been wanting to get back to that.  All of his friends are drunks and aren’t Christians and he has spent many hours basically babysitting these “friends”.  We were introduced to his family that welcomed us in with open arms.  They are a shy family that kind of stays to themselves.  We love them dearly.  They have so much love to give, but their community doesn’t really allow them to feel free in speaking God’s truth.

God, I lift this family up to you!  They belong to you, Lord!  I pray God that you will set this family on fire and that they will be the ripple in this community that they live in.  That they will call out your name constantly and fight for you and claim this land and your people back in your name.  I bind up all fear that is holding them back.  I pray that they will step up and be your heart and voice in this community.  Please give them the strength, dear God.  Provide for them the support needed from fellowship with other believers.  Make them strong and brave for you, sweet Lord.
