So…my team, Lunchbox, and Crux/Ninjas are heading to Costa Rica for our final week on the Race! The whole squad will meet up there to have our final debrief! I definitely am excited about going home, but I’m also a little sad! But I’m ready!
We just had a goodbye session with our contacts and the youth that we have been working with this past month in Nicaragua…and it was a wonderful goodbye! There was one moment where most of us lost it…we couldn’t hold our tears back! The youth had been performing dances, and skits for us all night, and they came to the finale! It was a skit thanking us for following God as missionaries and coming there! All of our past 11 months were building up inside us, and the thank you’s that they were saying to us were like they were from the last 11 months! I cried like a baby! Oh man, I wonder what final debrief is going to be like?! Well…please continue to keep us in your prayers! I’ll try to post another blog in the next week…if not, it’ll be from home (Stateside)!
