Oh my gosh! I totally have to share my day with you all! I’m so excited!
So…this weekend I went home with my best friend for her birthday (we went to her home town, along with another friend). We went to her home church this morning and the sermon that the pastor gave today was all about missions and missionaries and everything mission-oriented! I could not be more excited about hearing this sermon, basically because I definitely know that Satan is attacking me in all sorts of ways…he’s trying his hardest to make me change my mind…and sometimes, I feel like it’s working! Well, after hearing the sermon, I felt more excited and a little more at ease about the World Race.
And if you’ve read my past two blog posts, then you probably know that the scariest and hardest part for me is the fund-raising. Well, today was amazing! I was presented with a check that definitely made a difference in my support raising…it literally moved me to tears! I was so overwhelmed with emotions! In that moment, God spoke to me, He reminded me that He was still here and He has me right where He wants me! How amazing is He? In the times where I was beginning to feel forgotten and left out and defeated, Christ yells out a reminder to me…to remember to have faith in Him and to know that He has it timed out just perfectly! I mean, how amazing is He! I wanted so much to be overwhelmed by all of this support raising stuff and to just give up, but He will not let me! He is so GOOD!
He is so GOOD, that he not only just showed me that I am supposed to “go” with this contribution, but also, with amazing friends! Amazing friends that continue to push me and remind me that it can be done and it will be done. They are so willing to give up their time to help me out in any way that they possibly can! I couldn’t ask for better people to be surrounded by! God is so GOOD!
