So…I’m in Romania now…just started my 8th month on the Race….I can’t believe I’m already there!  It’s crazy!  I try not to think about how much we have left on the Race…it’s too much to think about right now!

Anyways…we made it to Romania about two days ago…and guess what!  I spent this morning sick in bed!  Everyone on my team has pretty much been getting sick….ah…the joys of living in community…you share everything…even nasty “sick germs”.  Ha!

So…we are spending our month basically washing the feet of the ministry (meaning, we will do any services needed to help the ministry).  Yesterday, I got to put my construction skills to work…yep, that’s right folks….I said construction…ha!  I actually love using tools!  The circular saw is my favorite power tool…and I got to use one yesterday and help teach a teammate how to use it…it was a blast!  I also got to use a hammer and nails and build a couple of things!  It was so much fun!  I just love being able to do that kind of stuff!  Just doing hard work!  I love it!  Ha!  I felt like I just sounded like a guy there!  I asked one of the guys yesterday if it was okay that a girl says that she likes construction…and he said is it okay for me to say I don’t?!  I hope to get more opportunities this month to use  some tools .

I’m looking forward to this month…especially, because it is actually warmer than what we have been experiencing the last couple of months!  It’s beautiful spring weather!  Actually, the weather yesterday reminded me of my hometown in Mississippi…and it made me miss it a bit.  I always loved walking on the Mississippi State University campus during the spring, or sitting outside of the bakery on campus and people watching!  But, I wouldn’t trade where I am now for there.

I’m blessed…I really am….to be out here…to be running around the world for the Kingdom’s cause!  And I’m growing…I’m learning a lot, and my faith is definitely being tested and stretched.  My God is wonderful!

Until next time….
