I was watching the sunshine coming through the windows this morning during worship. How bright and exciting it was to see! How there will soon be flowers blooming all over the place, and how the trees will be getting full with leaves. And how I will soon be smelling the fragrance of spring. Oh how I love spring! And then I heard the Lord tell me that my spring was coming!
With spring, it usually likes to rain a lot at first! Oh…the rain! I usually don’t mind rain, however, I’ve lived here in Gainesville, GA for 6 months now, and it has rained a lot! I’m almost tired of it! I’m ready for it to just stay warm! To just be sunshiny! To just bring that beautiful fragrance of flowers, trees, and grass! I’m ready for it to just be the later half of Spring!!!
So, what does God mean that my spring is coming?
I believe that I’m going through that 1st half of spring right now! That I’m experiencing that rainy season! I’m getting a lot of rain! I’m being prepared for a lot of the things that are ahead. I’m getting a bit impatient, as well! You would think that I would be excited about where I am right now, and in a way, I am…but I’m also starting to get tired of this! I’m ready to move on!
That means, I’ll soon be going through the growth! That I’ll be in this awkward season where I’m starting to develop! Where I’m almost there, but not quite! I’ll be like a bud waiting to bloom! I’ll be like the roots underneath the earth…stretching out to grab hold of what will keep me stable for when I am fully developed! It’ll be like a discovery for me!
And then the part of spring I like the most….the fragrant and colorful part! The part where I’ve bloomed! I’m excited for that one! That means I’ve gone through all of this other stuff…the preparation and the growth… and now I get to look like how I’m supposed to look! New and fresh! Beautiful and bold! Colorful! And everything before was worth it!
