The closer it gets to July the more I think about life on the race. I wonder about the different ways we will minister and help, to the conditions we will be living in. But, one thing that sticks out to me the most is that we are going to 11 different countries just to love. I count that a blessing and a privilege to have the opportunity to just love on people everywhere I go. I know we will be giving our testimonies, helping different ministries, and praying for girls who are stuck in human trafficking, but really all of that is God’s love on display. God only wants us to help ministries to grow so that they will know His love. He wants us to pray for little girls in human trafficking to share His love. Oh the honor it is to love like Christ, and to see lives change because of it.
Buttttt…………….. My sharing of God’s love should not start when I leave for the race, but this love should be in my life daily while I am still here in the U.S. I should be loving on my teacher at school, the greeter at Walmart, and the drug addict on the street, because God wants me, He wants us to love one another. Whether that is here in America or somewhere in India, we are all called to love. And I am so thankful that God would even allow me to be apart of His love story. We are in the midst of a story, one filled with love and compassion for a savior and a people. And God is saying to me and to you, that all we have to do is LOVE. That is all mankind needs. LOVE.
Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7
