For the month of April, my team and I partnered with Grow International Ministries, just outside of Manila in the Philippines. I love what this ministry does. They take kids who live on the streets (mostly because of poverty, not because of lack of family) off of the streets and to their property to give them a glimpse of what healthy family life looks like. They feed them nutritious meals, do activities with them and share Jesus with them.

This is Marlon. He is an 18 year old whose life was changed through this ministry.
Marlon’s mom had very little money which led to him living on the streets beginning at the age of 6. He lived a hard and rough life, but through the ministry of the camps Grow put on, he was introduced to Jesus at the age of 16 and now lives and works at the ministry and his desire is to be a missionary.

Growing up as the child of a church planting missionary, it was really cool for me to see ministry being done in a different way. I know ministry can look like a lot of things, but this one was something I haven’t seen before and I love it! Lives are being changed and I am so blessed to be a part of it!

Update: I am now fully funded!! That means my finances to cover the trip have all come in. That does not cover my personal expenses or funds for travel and activities on off days. I have had people ask about this. If you’re interested in supporting me further in this way, it would look a little different than donating through this page. You can email me at [email protected] or message me on Facebook for details. Thank You all so much for blessing me far beyond my expectations!
