These past two weeks have been so good. We’ve raised up new squad leaders and team leaders and are slowly giving things away to our new leaders as we prepare to say goodbye.

Last week, as we prayed into where we would spend our time for squad leader training, our mentor shared that one or two squad leaders would need to stay with a teammate who is sick and the rest venture on ahead for a week of camping and hiking in the mountains. I chose to stay in the capital with my sick friend.

I love adventure and I love doing crazy things, so saying no was so hard, but, the Father taught me so much through that. So much that I’m still unpacking.

Over the course of the week that we stayed in the capital, the Lord did incredible things. Our sick friend was totally healed of her illness (praise Jesus), we made a Muslim friend (who has become like family) who found us an apartment for nine people and is paying for all of our living expenses, and we got to celebrate my fellow squad leader’s birthday where we met the sweetest Muslim friend who has become like a brother. My time with our baby team of three was intimate and sweet and I really got to know those girls in a deeper and more intimate way. It was so good and I wouldn’t change a thing.

The Lord continually showed his faithfulness to me.

At the Mosque here in Muscat, there is a back room where you can go after the tour and converse with Muslims and learn all about what they believe. Each time I’ve gone, I’ve spent hours in that room. It’s been super sobering and has really deepened my compassion for these people and pushed me to want to learn more about what they believe and what I believe, and has given me an even bigger desire to intercede for them to have an encounter with Jesus.

It’s been such a great month. It’s been challenging, exciting, and overall, my favorite month.

Please join me in prayer. I’ve got three weeks until I land on U.S. soil and I am still in need of 3,000 USD to be fully funded.

Also, pray for me and my squad as we part ways and say goodbye. I love them so much.
