I’m sitting in the middle of a beautiful town in Spain that is completely engulfed with wine vineyards and enough grapes on the vine to satisfy my hunger for days. My heart is so content I think I might explode. Thank you to you all for your patience as I made a commitment to the Lord that I would stay away from social media and blogging for my first few days on the Camino. I must say, it has been eventful and incredibly beautiful.

First of all, my team is the best! Lauren is straightforward, kind, giving, mature, and super easy going. Andrew is a loving giant ball of energy and is always keeping me laughing. Jacob is kind hearted, sassy, and so easy to talk to. Connie is independent, tender hearted, and joyful. Melanie is smart, sophisticated, and super sweet. Lila is chill, easy going, and is always laughing. And, Ben Town brings perspective, joy, and tons of outrageousness to our team. I love the harmony our little family has and I thank God for blessing me with these people! This has been a month of growing deeper with them and it’s been awesome.

Ministry this month has been interesting. We wake up between 5:30 and 6:30 am every day to hike between 20 to 30 kilometers only to reach our next hostel. Then, while at our hostel, we shower, hand wash our clothes, hang them to dry, and spend our evenings with other people on the Camino usually in the way of a home cooked family style meal.

The cool thing about the Camino is that a lot of the people hiking it with us are either broken, hurting, or searching for deeper meaning and purpose in their lives. We’ve had so many amazing conversations with the people here. I get to tell people about how much Jesus loves them! I can’t believe this is my life. I am so happy.

One of the things I’ve been praying for during this long hike is for those brakes that stop me from being completely silly, wild, and free to be broken. Every day I have been laughing so much and this joy from Jesus deep down within me is overflowing. Please pray for me that I may be joyful at all times and in all circumstances!

Please pray for our team as we are physically exhausted and tender from our endless walking and still sharing the joy of the Lord with all of those people we meet. Pray that we will always be ready to share the hope of Jesus with those who are thirsty and heavy laden.

We’ve got a good while until our time here in Spain is over. I want you to know that Jesus is on the move and I’m so thankful to you all for your support through prayer and also financially. As you can see, I still have about 3,000$ left to raise until I’m fully funded.

Jesus is good. I am beloved. He’s worthy of it all.

Peace, hope, and love in Him forever,
