Last night was the kickoff party for my Pampered Chef fundraiser. I am so excited and feel that it is such a blessing that partnering with Pampered Chef is even available. The evening’s theme was tropical as we all wore floral leis and listened to steel drum music. I being the “host” had the privilege of wearing the grass skirt! (too bad I forgot my camera!) Nessa, the sales consultant, began making a wonderful Lime Berry Mousse Trifle as she demonstrated how to use some of the Pampered Chef products. While making the refreshing dessert and she also shares a little bit of her testimony of how God has given her this opportunity to go into peoples homes and be able to plant seeds. I’m simply thrilled at how she quit her corporate job, took a step of faith and started with Pampered Chef. Her intension of just doing 4 shows and quitting was obviously not what God had planned as he has prospered her business. She humbly credits God with her success and gives thanks for the blessing this job has given her family. I am so glad I have had the opportunity to meet her and work with her on this project. I truly believe that God has brought us together as I had wanted to do a fundraiser like this, but didn’t know what type of product to go with…I get invited to a show that a friend hosts, I go because I enjoy them, but fully expecting just to enjoy the company and fellowship of my friends. Low and behold look where we are now!
I did take a picture with my camera phone of the evening…well Nessa cleaning up, notice the trifle bowl nearly empty. It was delicious!

Pampered Chef along with my sales consultant Vanessa Rice will donate 15-20% of the proceeds from the Kickoff party, internet, and catalog sales. They will also provide additional donations for anyone who signs up to host a party. Order forms are due on the 27th so we can submit all orders on the 28th. Products should arrive within the following week, just before Easter!
