I was born near the Atlantic, in fact my first steps were on it’s beaches. I’ve visited some commercialized shores along the Pacific with its local flair of shops and culture. Until today, one ocean I have not yet seen or stepped into was the Indian. This was our fully dedicated team day and Lego alone walked about 45min to walk from where we are staying to the beaches. Our conversations were interrupted once by a stirring in the trees from some monkeys jumping from limb to limb…they were so fast and went deep into the trees I wasn’t able to get a picture. (sad face I know)
We walked up over a sand dune trying to avoid swarms of flying ants that were hovering over the path. Once we got over the dune we were in awe as the Indian Ocean opened up before us…as far as we could see black cliffy mountains book-end the beach…It was so majestic as a faint haze of fog was lifting. Our God blows me away with his creative omniscience…I was fully exhilarated, energized, and renewed. Only He could have known and orchestrated what I needed. It was a great day. I’m getting to better know my team and they me.
