When we arrived in Botswana I had absolutely no idea of what to expect. I knew we’d be camping again and that our ministry would be varying depending on where the need was within the ministries of Love Botswana.
Geographically I was clueless. We arrived and I saw sand, sand, and more sand. There are some bush and trees, but mostly sand. The sand feels like that of ocean beaches…but there’s no ocean (Botswana is land locked, I did know this). I have since learned that we are in the Kalahari desert, along the Okavango Delta. I was also naive in the temperature changes that occur. I knew it’d be colder at night but I wasn’t fully prepared for the drastic 25 degree drops. Well without further delay, I’d like to give you a tour of the beautiful place we are calling home for this month.
I wanted to share this with you before actually leaving Botswana…sorry
