As we transition from one country to the other there is about a week long travel and debrief period. During the debrief we discuss various aspects of ministry that we may have enjoyed or thought could use some improvement. In this time we also have some of the leadership staff from Adventures in Missions (AIM) come and help facilitate team and spiritual growth sessions. In this our first official debrief we were informed that there were going to be some changes for the June Squad (aka Squad C).
The change for us was to reorganize the teams so that there is a male on each team. This has proved to be an emotional situation as we have all bonded in our smaller teams, but we’ve signed up for the World Race and with that we knew we’d have to be flexible. With this change we’ll be able to serve in a larger capacity and hopefully more to our team giftings. As a team that was all girls it is also helpful in commanding respect from people groups around the world. (At times in Swaziland we noticed that the children behaved more attentively when the guys in our group were around.)
For team Lego this change is a blessing, we didn’t lose any of our ladies and in fact had an answered prayer. Without any further ado, let me introduce to you the newest Lego in the block…Silas!

The next change that I’m sure that you are all interested in… Lego is traveling with team Zion (formerly Daughters of Zion) to Maun, Botswana!
