Team Lego, is now all together again with Silas back from his month of “Manistry” and ready to go. With this debrief over, we’ve recognized some areas individually and collectively that need given more attention and confronted sooner. This, just in time as Cambodia also has a spiritual heaviness about it, similar to what we felt in Pattaya last month. Thank you and please continue to lift our team up in your prayers, praying against oppression and tendencies of isolation.

Early Thursday morning we headed to Phnom Penh, Cambodia with the September teams. We were told the road conditions are less than pleasant and it will be a lengthy day of travel. And it was, 17 hours later we arrived at Youth With A Mission(YWAM)’s University of the Nations location. We had two days of some cultural training and are off to ministry locations on Sunday and Tuesday. Four teams will be staying in Phnom Penh, they are Concrete and LESS (Sept team) who will be doing ministry together, Ignite (Sept team), and Lego.

We will be arriving Tuesday at an orphanage called Love in Action. Our team will be living across town from the other teams on the top floor of the orphan boys building. I’m looking forward to meeting Mama Ruth, the lady in charge, as we have been told wonderful things about her faith and providing a solid environment for these children. Mama Ruth is a nurse, so we will also have the opportunity to join her to provide medical assistance in the countryside.
