Aye!! Hello my friends
So the lord is good, amirate:) my last blog I was expressing my frustration with the mission my team was set with this month, but this blog is a little different. The Lord really grabbed my heart the last week and has taught me many things on love, perseverance, and patience. Our job for this week was painting the guest house walls. Now, if you know me you know I loveee to paint, so the Lord obviously knew that would be a good place for me. After we finish up working on the guest house we play volleyball with the staff. Now at first I was upset to hear we would not be having any interactions with people but was I ever wrong. Here in India, where we are staying, there are many staff members who make up the organization. Playing volleyball with them has been such a highlight to each day so far. We all split into teams and honestly yall, they are crazy good at the game, like wow. We laugh, and play tough, and just have a good time. Sometimes I forget that just because I’m not playing with kids does not mean there aren’t other people who need love. The workers here work non stop all day everyday and they need breaks also. The relationships we have made this last week put a huge smile on my face because the love around this building is so real. God is so so good to us here. Instead of sulking around, I chose to have faith in the Lord knowing that he would have a good plan. He has put my little team here for a reason, I still do not fully know that reason but I am starting to see it. Building relationships through the lord is such a sweet thing and I am so overly excited to see how these last two weeks in India go. Thank you all for the continuous support, love, and prayers. P.s. we need some prayers for the bugs…. They are everywhere!!
