about hitting the nail on the head. I can’t sit still, it’s a confession. Here
is what a day in the life of
car, drove up to Memphis to take a grand tour of the airport. (note: when you
travel with a hiking backpack inside a black airport duffle bag, women stop you
and legit ask “is that a body bag?” I really really wanted to just smile and say “why yes” and then keep walking.)
about an hour watching clips and reports and everything possible media related
about 9-11 WHILE waiting to board a PLANE. Thank you Memphis Airport.
some time in the clouds, made an appearance in Phoenix, made friends with a
lady from Memphis with some excellent choice in fingernail design.
another plane, finished a book on zombies, which was actually really good!
Thank you good friend for the excellent plane read! Then I proceeded to make a
friend on the plane with Ben from France who lives in LA.
little chat, I landed in California!!!! Wesley’s dad and step-mom picked me up.
They are absolutely wonderful people. And I am ever so grateful for everything
they have and still are doing for me!! We went to an excellent place directly
on top of the Pacific ocean for dinner, strolled around the boardwalk, and
literally stopped to smell the ocean air.
By the time I got into bed, I was absolutely exhausted (prophecy: this
will be the story of my next year of life. Ha! but I’m serious!)
continuation of rambunctiousness:
minute errands, where Mr. Mark made sure to take very good care of me and feel
assured that I’m prepared for what I’ve gotten myself into, AND taking me to
Downtown Disney, here I sit once again at the LAX airport waiting to board a 15
hour flight to the Philippines!!!! I’m super excited about being in the
Philippines, not one bit thrilled about 15 hours on a plane. But, I did phone a
friend to hear that I would be safe on a plane for that long and that planes
should be relaxing. So, thanks to encouraging words and Nyquil from Mr. Mark,
I’m ready!

are all waiting to get on this plane and reach the world!!! Literally.
back soon for an update on how I mange to stay still in ONE place for a full 15
hour flight!
