It is with great excitement that I can say I am 70% funded for the World Race!! What?! That means in total $17,500 AUD (approx. $13,500 US) has been raised. That overwhelms me with thankfulness!
So to those who have donated financially to make this possible, I want to say a massive THANK-YOU!! Thank-you for partnering with me and for equipping me to be able to go on this journey God has for me. This is a testament to what God can do and that nothing is a limitation for Him. He has already exceeded my expectations and filled me with such peace and hope. I’m in awe of Him.
It has been so encouraging to see how God has provided for this trip. From simple conversations, bake and flower sales, to strangers who have contacted me and generously given.
God in His loving kindness brought me to a place of resting in Him and it was in this season of rest, when I stopped trying in my own efforts, that God really opened the floodgates of fundraising. It`s funny that when we stop and surrender that God blesses us for our obedience and uses it for His glory. My faith has expanded seeing first hand how God has made a way and clearly shown me this is where He wants me. I’ve experienced more of His character and been able to trust in who He says He is: My Provider.
As I prepare to go on training camp in 11 days for 2 weeks, I am filled with a range of emotions. Mainly excitement mixed with some anxious thoughts. I`m excited to meet my team but I am nervous about walking into the unknown. Through it all I am trusting that God will lead me every step of the way and that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I have an immense hope for what is to come and what God is going to do in and through me.
Please be praying for me as I prepare for training camp, my flights over to USA (for the first time!) and for training camp: that God would draw us into greater intimacy with Him, build unity and community within my team and give us His missional heart.
