I don’t know about you but I have certainly gotten from point A to B without quite knowing how. Where you ask yourself how did i get here? Why did this happen? Woah like what???in a state of confusion. It’s like having blinders on or a sense of disillusion. Going through all the motions but not being fully there as we tend to be creatures of habit. Ex: being extremely tired but still somehow functioning. Blind to the things around us though God is still watching over us. In Deuteronomy 31:8, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged”, and almost the same thing in Joshua 1:9, “Have i not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”. The dictionary describes blindness as unable to see, lacking all consciousness or awareness, drunk(slightly funny but true), unwilling or unable to perceive or understand. I’m sure there have been many moments we have been caught off guard in our lives. In 1 Peter 5:8, “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour”. Being in a state of blindness does no good to you or the people around you, though we can tend to like living in a sleepy state. It means we don’t have to be aware of whats going on outside are world as well as whats going on inside ourselves. We could become so busy that we lose the sight saying we have no time and if there is time we have excuses to cover that up. We lose sight of ourselves and we lose sight of God. Consciously every creature on earth knows there is a higher being and every human knows they are lost and searching for something. As it says in Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what was made, so that men are without excuse”, and in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”, and in Romans 15:21, “Rather, as it is written: Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand”. Take those blinders off and open your eyes to a beautiful world. Truly search and you will find your answers in the one true God, the great I Am. He holds the key to your heart, body, and soul. Stop sleeping and awake to a world with Him. In Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”. Are you truly seeking him with all your heart? If you are thats fantastic and if you are not start now. There is no time like the present. It is not easy but worth it in the end when your aware instead of in a blind fog. Seek him with all your heart it’s the greatest treasure you could ever find!
