Hi! My names Tabitha but my friends call me Tabby. I’m 23 years old and about to embark on a journey around the world. I’m so very excited for this opportunity and growth! God’s going to do many great things on this world mission. 11 countries in 11 months!

Here’s some background knowledge on how I got to this point in my life. I grew up Catholic until I was about 13. When I was 16 I went to church camp and gave my heart to God and became a non-denominational Christian. I originally didn’t want to go, but God and my youth friends knew best, as it was one of the best weeks ever! At 17 I went to an event at a Christian college where I had an encounter with God. That moment was when I knew what he wanted me to do. I even did my high school senior project on becoming a missionary. I was too scared though and went about my life doing other things. In 2012 I was beginning to get very restless with life, and wanted to get out of town and do something better with it. So I embarked out for an adventure and experience by moving to North Dakota to work in the oil boom. Got to experience working in the field first hand, lots of growth, and the people(friends) that were made are amazing.

At the beginning of this year I decided it was time to start living for God the way he wanted me to five years ago. Originally I had no idea what I was doing, but God’s plans and thoughts are far greater than my own, which I am so thankful for. It’s been quite the journey of ups and downs, but God has helped me pull through it all. I do not know what to expect on this next year and a half, but I do know God will far exceed any expectations I may have. We must live in the moment for him and take everything with stride. Everything happens for a reason. Though we may not see the full picture at the moment, he does, and I put my trust in him.

I’m so excited for this! Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this and want to help support me. Every little thing counts and prayers are always welcomed!

Much love and God’s blessings,

Tabitha Waco

P.S.- I wrote this message from God and read it to a person I knew, but I now realize God knew what I was doing before I even did. This was written in March before I had even applied or gotten accepted to the world race.

‘It is good to know when to speak and when to be silent.

For to speak you proclaim the word and to be silent you listen to his word.

The movement of Christ along the winds, waters, and lands will be carried far indeed.

Do not be afraid for he will help you along the way.’
