Dear Donor,

I don’t know how you came to the decision to support me financially. Maybe you opened up a letter that came in the mail one day, maybe you attend a church I’ve spoken at, or maybe you’ve known my family for years, so you decided to give.

First, I just want to say THANK YOU! I cannot express to you just how much your donations mean to me. I realize for some of you, supporting me meant sacrificing something you love. Maybe you gave up your coffee, or that pair of shoes you were eyeing, or a date night. Thank you. For some of you, God asked you to sacrifice more. Past the point of it hurting, into the realm of “If I do this, how will I pay all my bills?” Yet you trusted, and you gave. Thank you. I don’t even know some of you. You chose to give anonymously. You don’t want any recognition, but thank you. Some of you don’t even know me. Some how you heard of this girl doing something audacious, and you decided to support her. Thank you.

Whether you gave $1 or $1000, you have given more than you know.

You have given me hope.

You have given me love.

You have given me faith.

You have given me a glace at Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides.

You have been Jesus to me.

You are being Jesus to others.

You are acting as the Body of Christ.

It’s hard to find the words, and even harder to make others understand them. You, my brothers and sisters, are so much more than a donor. You are a partner. Whether you realize it or not, you are sharing this ministry with me. You have chosen to walk along side me, and share the weight of my cross.

You are reaching countless lives in towns, countries, continents your feet may never touch. You are making it possible for ears to hear the gospel for the first time. You are providing friendship to the orphans and widows. You are breaking the chains of prostitution.

You are not just “throwing money at a problem,” you are actively providing THE solution – Jesus.

My prayer for you, is that you realize just how important you are in this ministry. I pray you see doors opening because of your generosity. And I pray that God gives you an enormous return on your investment – though I’m not asking it be in money. I pray that God shows you that He is Jehovah Jireh. That you come to the understanding that His eye is on you. And I pray that as He continues to give to you, that you continue to give to others.

May the Lord bless you, and keep you. May His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
