Hey everybody!
My name is Tabitha, most of my friends call me Tabz. I’m from middle-of-nowhere, Alabama. I’m 23 years old. I don’t really know how to write an “About Me”, so I’m gonna do 5 favorite things, 5 things that always make me happy, and 5 things I’m nervous/excited about for this trip.
5 Favorite Things:
- Movie: “The Princess Bride”
- Song: “Adventures in Sawyerland” by Trace Bundy
- Activity: Netflixing… that’s an activity, right?
- Food: Peanut Butter
- Author (because I can’t pick just one book): Cassandra Claire
5 Things That Make Me Happy:
- Coffee. Preferably with 2 sugars.
- The smell of lemon
- Puns
- Sunny days with a high of 75*
- My pets (dog: Dixie; cat: Mittens)
5 Things I’m Nervous/Excited About:
- Leaving my family and friends >>> gaining a new WR family
- Raising so much money >>> watching God prove Himself as Jehovah Jireh
- Not being “enough” >>> seeing God do amazing things anyway
- Living with so many people >>> being part of a true community
- Going into the unknown >>> learning to be dependent on God and learning to trust others
I’ve come to realize that the things I’m most scared of, are also the areas I’m most excited to see God move. I’m learning that fear doesn’t have to be a bad thing; it can be what propels me further into my relationship with God.
