The following is a picture of my fabulous WR family. We are team Ripple Effect. To us this is more than a name, but a representation of our vision as missionaries. We believe that we are part of a generation that will bring hope to the nations. But we see our generation as the starting point of a multi-generational movement. Just like the ripple effect that takes place after a stone is thrown into water, we want to be the start of something that continues to grow for generations! We were also inspired by 1 Cor. 3:5-10…
“6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything but only God who gives the growth. […] 10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it.”
I think it’s a beautiful idea that we each play an integral role in the sharing of the Gospel. It is team Ripple Effects’ hope that we will plant a seed, lay a foundation, and one day that foundation will be built upon by the generations to follow.
