….the adjective and the ones you camp in!

I am blessed beyond belief, and exhausted beyond words.  However I’m going to try to get some words down so anyone interested can continue to follow along in my WR adventure…

In just two months, I am going to be launching around the world.  The last nine days I spent at Training Camp in Atlanta GA, preparing for the Race.  The week was a combination of spiritual, physical and emotional challenges.  It was also however, a combination of spiritual and emotional blessings!  In it’s basic form, camp was a simulation of what life will be like on the Race.  We slept in our tents, lived out of our packs, showered rarely, ate sparingly, worshiped wholeheartedly, smelled atrocious, spoke with conviction and transparency and declared our visions for the nations we will be traveling to.

Throughout the week, we got to know our squad-mates pretty intimately and were eventually split into teams of 6 & 7; these small teams are who we will typically be traveling individually.  My team has already gotten off to a great start and I cannot wait to share more stories of our journey together!  So far all you need to know, is my teammates rock and God has provided me with a supportive, passionate and joyful group of brother’s and sisters to spend an ENTIRE year with.

Apologies for the lame-ness/vague-ness of this post.  I am sitting in a coffee shop taking a break from my long drive home at the moment and let’s be honest, having a little trouble focusing with everything that has happened in the last nine days!

More to come when my mind is more fully recovered….
