The reality of my leaving for the Race in three weeks has left me saturated with emotion. Up until last night, I was quite overwhelmed with doubts about all the logistics of the Race and coming to terms with the fact that it’s time to start my goodbyes.  Not fun.  But there have been so many reminders that these are small matters in the grand scheme of things.  So here are a couple of the more important reminders:

Challenges are good.
Challenge creates character.  I want a challenge.  I did not sign on for easy!

This will probably be one of the fastest eleven months of my life…
I’ll be home before I even know it!

Perfect love casts out all fear.

I have nothing to fear, because I am loved with a perfect and flawless love!

Graham Cooke speaks some powerful words in regards to our inheritance and our role in the Kingdom of Christ!  His message was the confidence booster I needed not only to amp myself back up, but to remind me of what I’m going to tell the people of the nations I’m going to.

“He loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us, because he loves us…”
